Just Say Timer

Privacy Policy

Effective October 18, 2026

Just Say Timer uses the microphone while the app is open to recognize spoken timer commands. Speech recognition runs entirely on your device using the bundled Vosk model. Microphone audio is processed in memory; the app does not record or upload it.

Recognized words may appear in the in-app recognition log so you can see which commands were understood. The log and current timer are held in memory and disappear when the app process ends. The app stores only a few local preferences, including the first app version you ran and whether it has requested microphone permission. You can remove this local data by clearing the app's storage or uninstalling the app.

The app has no internet permission. It does not send audio, transcripts, or other app data to us or anyone else. It has no account, advertising, or analytics. Microphone access stops when you leave the app, and you can revoke permission in Android settings.

This policy covers the Android app. If its data handling changes, we will update this policy.
